All things in order.....or not
So, the real reason for this post is very selfish. I have always loved photography and though I don't have a "natural" talent for it, I am drawn to it. So, in trying to discover myself and the things I am passionate about, I have decided to try out new things and one of those is exploring the world of photography. I took a basic photography class from a local girl I grew up with, Brooke Snow. Her class was fabulous!! (Highly, highly recommended if you want to learn how to use your SLR camera) I learned so many things about photography, how to use my camera, and how to see joy in the world around me through a lens. I want to be able to capture moments and memories of my family and in a way that when I look back I can feel and remember those moments and feel the happiness expereinced.
Getting to the point, Brooke is offering a scholarship for her Advanced Pro Workshop and I really want to go. It sounds cliche but I have a thirst for knowledge and I really want to know everything I can in my photography journey. I want to learn how to capture feelings and emotions in pictures especially with my little monsters. Childhood is such a sweet, playful, and innocent time of life, and I want to be able to capture those moments in my children and in all children so that we can treasure and freeze them forever.
Brooke, thank you for considering me for the scholarship and it would be an honor to be able to participate in the class!
For the rest of you, I did it, I posted and I will post again soon....

Bunk Beds
My parents have a set of bunk beds that they aren't using, so they gave them to us so Nikolas could sleep in a "big boy bed" and so that we would have the crib for the baby. It took a couple of weeks for us to get them from their house to ours. So, everyday Nikolas would ask about his "big boy bunk beds." When Papi and Grandpa finally got them to our house, Niko was so excited! He thinks it is so cool to have 2 beds!
