We Mastered the Slide

The other day we went to a park we'd never been to before. Until now, Nikolas hasn't dared go down the slide by himself, but this time he got real brave, tried it, loved it, and didn't want to stop EVER!! His next favorite thing was picking as up and fitting as many woodchips in his hand as possible. He was constantly on a hunt for bigger ones! El otro dia fuimos a un nuevo parque. Hasta ahora, no se ha animado bajar solo en el resbaladero, pero esta vez se animo, lo probo, le encanto y no queria para nunca! Tambien, le gusta levantar los pedacitos de madera que estan ahi y tener la mano llena!

Caught in the Act...

Nikolas loves yogurt! Everytime we open the fridge, he is right there ready to grab a yogurt. He gets so excited when he sees it, the look on his face is priceless! The other day, Nikolas learned how to open the fridge (our worst nightmare). Now he goes to the fridge any time he feels like it and "sneaks" yogurt. He somehow manages to stick his little finger through the foil on EVERY yogurt in the fridge. We finally caught him in the act.....

A Nikolas le encanta el yogurt. Cada vez que abrimos la heladera, el esta ahi listo para agarrar uno. Se anima tanto cuando lo ve, y la cara que pone no tiene precio! El otro dia, Nikolas aprendio abrir la heladera (la peor pesadilla). Ahora el va cuando quiere y saca lo que se le da la gana. El se las arregla para meter sus deditos en cada yogurt de la heladera. Por fin lo agarramos con la mano en la masa.....

But with that cute, sweet, little innocent face, who could say no?!!

Pero esa carita tan linda, dulce, y inocente, quien podria decir que no?!!

It was fun to have Melissa hang out with us for a whole afternoon!! Her and Niko read books together for over an hour without stopping! I think they read every book on the shelf! He just kept going and getting more books! Nikolas loves books...he would choose them over anything...well maybe not food, but everything else.

Fue divertido tenerla a Melissa toda una tarde en casa! No tuvo que trabajar asi que paso toda la tarde con nosotros! Melissa y Niko leyeron libros juntos por mas que una hora sin parar!! Creo que leyeron todos los libros! A Niko le encantan libros....mas que cualquier otra cosa...bueno, quizas no mas que la comida, pero todo el resto.
