Fishing trip?

A couple of weeks ago we went to the river just a couple blocks from our house for a little fishing trip. Nikolas' patience with fishing lasted about 10 minutes so we went exploring. It started out like this:

We had fun wakeboarding at Island Park Reservoir over the 24th of July weekend. Here is Cristian doing really good right before he biffs it! The funny part is that he just falls over out of no where! Love ya Babe! Aca esta Cristian wakeboarding bien justo antes de caerse! Lo chistoso es que se cayo de nada! ja ja!

Island Park

We went to Island Park for the 24th of July. We had SO much FUN and we got to do a variety of things! Nikolas was in heaven! Fuimos a la cabana de mis papas por algunas dias. Nos divertimos mucho y hicimos un poco de todo!

I think Nikolas' MOST favorite thing of the whole trip was having going on 4 wheeler rides. That's ALL he wanted to do all day. (I think that was Cristian's favorite part too, riding the motorcycle) He would go outside and just sit on the 4 wheeler and then BEG everyone to take him on a ride. He loved it. Mom, Dad, Cristian and Dillon were all really nice and took him on LOTS of rides! He also loves helmets! So, even if he wasn't riding, he wanted to wear the helmet. Niko always wants everyone to experience just what he is experiencing, hence Grandma Brenda wearing a helmet too! Thanks Grandma for being such a good sport!

Creo que lo que mas le gusto a Nikolas fue andar en las motos! Queria andar TODO el dia! El se iba afuera y se sentaba en la moto esperando que alguien le lleve a andar. Mi mama, papa, Dillon y Cristian lo llevaba por todos lados! A Nikolas tambien le encantan los cascos. Aun cuando no andaba en moto queria ponerse el casco. El siempre quiere que los demas tengan las mismas que experiencias que el, por eso tiene un casco mi mama tambien.

There was a little leak in the sprinklers. . . looked just like a drinking fountain! Salia un poco de agua de la manguera y Niko le gustaba tomarla (papi tambien)

Always gotta have a fire and cook hotdogs! Siempre hay que tener un fuego y cocinar salchichas!

And play a few rounds of cards! Y jugar a las cartas!

Niko loved boating! The rest of us too! (I'll post the wakeboarding videos in a seperate post.) A Niko le encanta andar en la lancha! Hasta manejo con la ayuda del abuelo. (Voy a poner algunos videos en otro.)

These pics are at Big Springs! I love it there because the river is always full of fish. But this time the river was covered in seagulls and all the fish were hiding under the bridge. So that was kind of a bummer. Nikolas had fun though! Estas fotos de Big Springs! Me encanta ese lugar por que siempre esta lleno de pescados, pero ese dia que fuimos habia solo pajaros, los pescados se escondian abajo del puente. Pero fue divertido igual!

Cute Boys!

A few weeks ago we had a "Rock Band Night" with the George's. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of our band, but I got some cute pictures of the boys playing.

My Grandma gave me this marble thing. I remember playing with it for hours with my brother and sisters when we would go to her house. We would line up all the marbles and then watch them all go down. Other times, the goal was to keep the marbles going: there always had to be a marble or else we lost. Anyway, when I saw that my grandma was giving it away, I snatched it right up! The boys had so much fun playing with it (Monica and I too!) Aren't they all so cute! I love these boys!

Poor Isaac! 3:00 a.m. came fast!
